Benidorm And The Costa Blanca Area
Did you know that Benidorm in Spain and Alicante are only forty-five miles apart on the Costa Blanca. Benidorm and the Costa Blanca area have many opportunities for sightseeing. However, the beach and seaside is one of the main attractions in the region. This holiday center is north east of Alicante; it’s earned the nickname the Spanish party center across the world. Benidorm’s advantage of is its summertime climate. With thirty dance clubs with an active nightlife, there is always plenty to do.
If you love exotic foods there are a thousand Benidorm restaurants. It appears that most of the vacationers arriving here are from the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Germany. In Benidorm you’ll discover the Castle of Conde de Alfaz which offers the holiday maker a great two hour floor and dinner show, featuring jousting knights in armor on horseback, with weapons and defenses such as the weapons of the day including swords, and shields. As you dine on roasted meats, ribs, vegetables, soups, breads, sangria, beer and frozen deserts, you’ll get to support your favorite knight.
Following that entertainment spectacular, why not top off the evening at the Pit of Terrors dance club — right next door. This experience is included in the price of the dinner show. You’ll note that the staff at the dance club are wearing science fiction attire. The Benidorm Palace presents for your pleasure, a three hour floor show, with live performances include dances, live singers, magicians, and comedians three times a week. Benidorm on the Mediterranean as the Costa Blanca region, still attracts those who want the beaches above all during the daytime.
If you want a more active and busy sand and beach, you’ll want to go to the Playa de Poniente Beach. You’ll find it on the main beach road. The beach gets much traffic. If you want a quieter experience then a little further along is Playa de Levante. This beach is off the beaten track and on the other side of the ‘Costa and is more quiet and tranquil. While in Benidorm, stop at popular attractions such as Water Park Aqualandia Park, where you discover waterslides and swimming pools.
How would you like to take a slow ride down a river. While in the park show your children to the Adventureland area where you might have trouble convincing them to leave. Mundomar Aquatic Park is another popular attraction about marine mammals such as Seals and Sea Lions and dolphins as well as many species of penguins and their adaptation to a water environment. There is also children’s fun play ground equipment.
Part of Benidorm and the Costa Blanca area has Terra Mitica, an Ancient History park featuring an interactive display and shows of five Mediterranean civilizations.
